Welcome to the Mottets
Situated in the 'vallée des glaciers' and on the "Le tour du Mont Blanc" hiking trail,
this old high mountain pasture, transformed into a refuge,
welcomes you into a social family atmosphere from mid-June to mid-September.
In an untouched nature you will meet up with the herds of cows and sheep kept by shepherds who will surprise you. They will tell you stories of their lives and guide you to marmot lookouts.

Access by car :
From Bourg Saint Maurice, on the round about after the train station, follow the signpost to "Cormet de Roselend",
after about 14 km, take the turn to the right towards "les chapieux"
Go through the village and keep going on a narrow road.
At the "lieu dit séloge", continue towards the "ville des glaciers". Leave your car in the car park. Cross the torrent at the base and after 15 minutes on foot over relatively flat terrain you will arrive at the refuge where you will be awaited.

The refuge is part of the "Tour du Mont Blanc (TMB)", allowing you to discover beautiful panoramas.
Great view over the "Glacier de l'Aiguille", the glaciers
and the "Robert Blanc" refuge.
